Kindness

This last year has been challenging for everyone, and this month I’ve really reflected on the kindness I’ve seen from friends and family.

I know I’m fortunate to have friends and family who I love, who I get along with, and who I know I can call on. But it’s not always that easy to call out for help. It’s not always easy to be vulnerable.

Love and kindness has been shown in messages, in gifts, in cards and in acts, and I am so thankful. Kindness doesn’t cost anything, but it is so important to show. You don’t know what people are going through right now, or what is around the corner for you or friends and family, so please continue to show kindness and love to those around you.

Kindness doesn’t have to be giving so much of yourself to everyone that you burn out, it can be as simple as a smile, a text, a card, a (cautious!) hug – if they’re a hugger. Show kindness, regardless of what’s going on. It will help your own mental health and certainly help theirs. ❤
