New Year, New Plans?

At the end of the year, many people write blogs or posts on social media reflecting over the year that’s been, and sharing plans for the year ahead.
This year I didn’t fancy doing any posts like it or sharing any generic Happy New Year messages. Rich and I both said that, actually, this New Year has been about us being together and our family building stronger relationships through the last year.
I feel like we’ve been a bit nomadic this year, living between a shipping container and our home, particularly over the last three months, and we haven’t made any plans for the year ahead.
What I did want to share was how grateful I am for space like this, where I can ramble away to my heart’s content, and how this has been such a useful place this year.
This is my first winter in many where I haven’t had to increase my dose of antidepressants, or get further help, and I know that is down to many things, including taking life one day at a time and not needing to plan too far ahead. I will do as much as I can do, and I will love with all of my heart, but in the end, Shrek says it best…

“That’ll do Donkey, that’ll do.”
